Our mission is to bring a new kind of education to our community, combining traditional farming, related trades, and the Catholic faith.
The College was founded in August, 2022, and began offering classes in Lanesville, Indiana, USA, and online. We plan to expand the number of courses and instructors, both in-person and online, continuously. Spring 2023 will see at least 2 additional instructors and 5 more courses. Courses began with a traditional semester length but will soon expand to include shorter courses.
We want to renew education with a farm-focus and help people build Catholic-faith-based community and the character needed to make it thrive. Our work sits outside the traditional accreditation system, which is so often hostile to faith and to practical learning.
You can find our courses online here, which you can take anytime and at your own pace. You will find small-scale traditional farming, basic science, Catholic materials, and much more, including our course on Radiation: How Can We Ever Survive, Good News from Japan, about what a unique scientist and atom bomb survivor can teach us about surviving on the physical and spiritual levels.
